Membedah Healing Dalam Dunia Tasawuf

Abstract


This study aims to dissect the concept of healing in the world of Sufism as a spiritual effort for self-healing. This departs from the concept of healing in Islam which not only seeks to treat psychological wounds but also aims to purify the soul or tazkiyatun nafs through worship, dhikr, and practice controlling lust. The study was conducted using a qualitative method of literature study approach referring to various sources of literature including the Qur'an, hadith, books, and journal articles relevant to the research. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the concept of self-healing in Islam includes self-awareness, repentance, introspection, letting go, motivation, reflection, and gratitude. Referring to the Qur'an, there are several self-healing methods developed such as QHT, Qur'anic bibliotherapy, concepts in al-muzammil 1-10, and the concept of dal al-insyirah. Forms of self-healing in the hadits include husnudzan, fasting, and repentance. Furthermore, self-healing in Sufism is closely related to tazkiyatun nafs (self-control) and is closely linked to the knowledge of God, which encourages humans to know their selves and others, solve their problems wisely and exsist during a life. Finally, the practice of self-healing includes Sufi values such as tawakkal (religious devotion), gratitude, and sincerity that’s very important in their life
