The method used research and development approach, test items were designed based on the national curriculum and critical thinking indicators and validated by experts. The trials ware involving 120 students was conducted to analyze item validity, reliability, difficulty level, and discrimination index. The results revealed strong content validity (Aiken’s V > 0.78), excellent reliability (Cronbach’s α = 0.92), and varying levels of difficulty and discrimination. While students performed well on basic language tasks, they struggled with higher-order thinking questions. This highlights the need for assessments that go beyond recall to evaluate deeper cognitive skills. The use of Google Forms proved effective in delivering interactive assessments, offering real-time data and efficient feedback. The study provides a valuable contribution to 21st-century assessment design, promoting critical thinking integration through accessible digital platforms.
