Metode Guru Untuk Melejitkan Potensi Kecerdasan Anak Melalui Pendidikan Agama Islam di Taman Kanak-Kanak

Abstract


This study explores teachers' methods in boosting children's intelligence potential through Islamic religious education in TKIT. Precisely at TKIT Nurul Ilmi, Central Amuntai District, North Hulu Sungai Regency. The authors use a type of field approach and qualitative descriptive research methods to collect data through interviews, observations, and documentation. In data processing, the author uses four main techniques: data collection, data reduction, data display, and data verification. The results of the study show that the teacher's method includes the use of the lecture method, the demonstration method, the exemplary method, the role playing method, the storytelling method, the wafa method, and the demonstration method. Based on the author's findings in the field, by using these methods, teachers at TKIT at the Nurul Ilmi kindergarten level have succeeded in stimulating the development of children's intelligence as a whole, both in terms of intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence. The study also revealed that the application of these methods not only helps students understand religious concepts and moral values, but also encourages them to develop critical and analytical thinking skills. The lecture method, for example, is used to convey information directly and in-depth, while the demonstration and exemplary method helps students see the application of religious values in daily life. In addition, role-playing and storytelling methods play an important role in capturing students' attention and helping them understand complex concepts through stories and real-life situations. The wafa and demonstration methods further facilitate distance learning and material accessibility, as well as allow students to perform real-life tasks relevant to the subject matter. Overall, this study shows that by using a combination of these methods, teachers at TKIT Nurul Ilmi have succeeded in creating an effective and inspiring learning environment, which not only improves students' academic achievement but also shapes their character and spirituality. The results of this study provide valuable insights for educators and policymakers in designing more inclusive and sustainable education programs.
